About
A small team,
a single boat,
a place we love.
We started Sail Abacos because we believe the best way to experience these islands is slowly, privately, with people who know them by heart.

Our Story
Sail Abacos began with a simple conviction: the Abaco Islands deserve to be experienced the way the sea intended—slowly, attentively, without the rush of a scheduled tour or the anonymity of a large charter fleet. [TBD — expand with founding story: when, why, the moment of decision]
We chose the Bali Catspace because it matches how we think about sailing: modern without being clinical, spacious without feeling corporate, designed for living rather than just moving. At 40 feet with four cabins, she is intimate enough for genuine hospitality and capable enough for serious cruising. [TBD — add specific details about the yacht selection process]
We operate one yacht. We take one charter at a time. There is no franchise model, no distant ownership, no call center. When you book with Sail Abacos, you are working directly with the people who will be on the water with you—who know the best anchorages for a north wind, which settlement has the freshest conch, and where the light hits the water just right at five o'clock. [TBD — add more operational philosophy details]

On the Water
Your crew
Every charter sails with a dedicated crew: a licensed captain who knows these waters by heart, a chef who sources locally and cooks to your preferences, and a mate who ensures everything runs smoothly from dawn coffee to evening anchorage.
[TBD — Captain bio placeholder: Name, credentials, years in the Abacos, what guests can expect from their captain. Personality and approach to sailing.]
[TBD — Chef bio placeholder: Name, culinary background, approach to provisioning and meal preparation. Ability to accommodate dietary preferences and create memorable meals.]
[TBD — Mate/additional crew placeholder if applicable.]
Before your charter begins, we will introduce you to your captain and discuss your itinerary, preferences, and any special requests. By the time you step aboard, your crew already knows how you take your coffee.
How We Work
Built around what actually matters
Local
We sail these waters every day. We know where the light hits, which settlements have the best conch, and when to tuck into a quiet anchorage.
Small by design
One yacht. One charter at a time. No franchise feel, no distant ownership. When you book, you work directly with the people who will be on the water.
Considered
Every detail—from provisioning to anchorage selection to the evening pour—is shaped around your week, not a standardized template.
Come meet us in the Abacos.
We would love to hear about your vision for a week on the water. Let us start the conversation.
